QA place Airbus order
Fast-expanding Gulf carrier Qatar Airways announced at last month's Dubai Airshow that it will buy 55 Airbus planes.The deal includes 50 A320neo narrow body aircraft and five A380 double-decker jumbos, with options for more.
Airbus says the package is worth $6.4bn at list prices.
