Formula One's Caterham F1 Team, based in Oxfordshire, UK is using a US-manufactured Faro ScanEdge portable CMM to optimise in-house quality control.One of its principal uses will be to monitor the quality of machined patterns that are used as templates for making moulds from which carbon fibre components for the team's cars are produced.
