German aero engine manufacturer MTU says that its new centre of excellence for blade integrated disks (blisks) will feature a large fleet of Mikron CNC machining centres supplied by Agie Charmilles, including several Mikron HPM 800U models.In fact, the shop is designed to house up to 24 Mikron machining centres as part of MTU's optimised, automated process workflow system.
