China hits 18-month high
China's manufacturing activity grew at its fastest pace in 18 months during October, adding to signs of a recovery in the world's second-largest economy.The official Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), a gauge of the sector's health, rose to 51.4 from 51.1 in September.
