Gripfast power chuck makes entrance
Pratt Burnerd International, a division of 600 UK, has launched the new Gripfast combination power chuck.The system is said to provide CNC lathe customers with a chuck, a collet chuck and a mandrel chuck, all combined in one unit.
Gripfast claims to come into its own on production CNC turning centres for medium to small batch production, enabling CNC lathe operators to increase productivity with minimal nonmachining time.
