Oerlikon acquire Sulzer Metco
Oerlikon, the Switzerlandbased parent company of cutting tool coating specialist Oerlikon Balzers, has signed an agreement to acquire Metco, a division of Sulzer, for an enterprise value of CHF1bn.Metco will now combine with Oerlikon's existing coating segment, expanding the company's presence and capabilities in this technology area.
