Toyoda introduce HMC
A new generation of horizontal machining centres from Toyoda Machinery is launched in the UK having 800 and 630 mm pallet sizes.The Japanese machine tool manufacturer is claiming best-in-class for workpiece swing, axis strokes and cutting performance.
The Toyoda FH800SX-I, for example, has a workpiece swing of 1500 mm for parts up to 1500 mm in height and weighing up to 2.5 tonnes.
X-axis travel is 1450 mm by 1250 mm in Y, while the Z-axis is 1550 mm.
