When Kettering-based A-BAX Precision Engineering was having difficulties in achieving hole concentricity and accuracy on a new order, scrap rates and reworking escalated rapidly.
Looking for a solution, A-BAX turned to Floyd Automatic Tooling and its Mowidec-TT Spindle centring system for the answer after facing some difficulties using conventional methods.
As a result of adopting Mowidec, the time spent setting and re-setting drills has been reduced by 75%.
