Sumitomo extend SDP drill range
Sumitomo Electric Hardmetal has extended the development and size range of its SumiDrill SDP drills.Important in the continued development of the drills is new flute geometry that creates an elliptical form to further improve chip evacuation from the cutting zone.
The maximum drill diameter available is also increased to 16mm from the original 3 to 12mm size range with the depthto-diameter ratio improved from 5xD to 7xD.
